Title: Aerial Perspective Painting
This is another painting in an ongoing series of paintings and drawings exploring aerial perspectives - views of city lights as seen from an airplane, at night. The inspiration for these night aerial perspectives emerged when I realized that similar painting techniques used in native aboriginal art could be used to convey the intricate geometric patterns that city lights form when they're seen from high altitudes.
